Guidelines for Passengers

  • Identification: Carrying of AADHAR CARD is mandatory for all Indians, whereas a passport is required for foreign nationals.
  • Hotel Standards: All hotels at Chardham Sectors are non-star category but we provide the best option available with pure vegetarian food.
  • Weight Limit: Maximum 5 kg luggage per passenger is permitted. We provide duffel bags upon arrival at Dehradun. Excess baggage must be stored at the hotel.
  • Medication: Pilgrimages are at high altitudes; passengers are advised to carry their own medication and woolen clothing.
  • Boarding Protocol: Weighing at the time of boarding is mandatory. We reserve the right to shuffle passengers to manage helicopter weight for safe flying.
  • VIP Darshan: At Badrinath, VIP darshan slips are provided. Associates assist in all other dhams. Rudra Abhishek and Maha Abhishek arranged for guests.
  • Medical Fitness: Our company is not liable for medical emergencies on the ground; guests are advised to obtain a doctor's fitness certificate.
  • Extra Charges: Persons beyond 85 Kg pay extra toward Palki at Yamunotri and shuttle at Phata to Kedarnath (direct payment).
  • Single Supplement: Extra Rs. 15,000/- for single occupancy in hotels.

Operational Conditions

Flight operations are subject to factors such as:

  • Clearance from Airforce & Civil Aviation.
  • VVIP movements and NOTAMs (Valley flying by IAF).
  • Bad weather conditions or sudden technical snags.
  • Illness of flying crew or delayed positioning of guests.

Cancellation Policy

If passengers wish to cancel their booking, the following charges will apply:

Cancellation Window Charges
Up to 30 days before Journey 30% of total amount
Up to 20 days before Journey 50% of total amount
Up to 10 days before Journey No Refund

**GST @18% is not included and payable extra on total billing.

Bad Weather Refunds

If the journey is delayed due to weather, we will attempt to finish the schedule on the following day. If we are completely unable to visit a destination, a proportionate refund based on missed flying time will be issued.

Full refund: Applicable only if we are unable to commence the journey from Dehradun due to reasons beyond our control.

Jurisdiction: All legal disputes are to be settled within the jurisdiction of Delhi-NCR. Mach Air India reserves the right to postpone flight timings based on weather and safety conditions.
